Board of Executive Officers
Tonon Bioenergia Board of Executive officers is responsible for the internal organization, day-to-day operations and decision-making and the implementation of the general policies and guidelines established by the Company’s shareholders from time to time. Tonon Bioenergia Board of Executive Officers is currently composed of four members, a Chief Executive Officer, a Chief Financial Officer, a Chief Industrial Officer and a Chief Agricultural Officer. The Board of Executive Officers meets weekly with all Tonon Bioenergia managers to discuss past-week and next-week matters, such as production, operational data, among others.
The members of the Board of Executive Officers are elected by Tonon Bioenergia shareholders for one-year terms and are eligible for reelection, provided that FIP DGF Terra Viva is entitled to appoint the Chief Financial Officer. The executive officers may be removed from office at any time with or without cause by the Company’s shareholders. In accordance with the Brazilian Corporation Law, executive officers must be residents of Brazil.

Rodrigo Caldas de Toledo Aguiar. Mr. Aguiar has over 28 years of experience in corporate finance and investment banking. He was a member of the board of directors of Paraíso Bioenergia. He has also served as CFO of Infinity Bio-Energy; head of energy, roads, mining and pulp and paper sectors at Banco do Espírito Santo; head of the energy sector at Unibanco (currently Itaú BBA). He has also worked for Safra, Sudameris and for PricewaterhouseCoopers. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica (PUC/SP), specialized in finance at the University of California (Berkeley) and holds an MBA in finance from IBMEC-SP (currently Insper).
Rafael Tonon. Mr. Tonon worked in the finance and supply sectors of Tonon. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie and specialized in agribusiness management at FGV. He has also completed the director training course (Curso de Formação de Conselheiros)through the Fundação Dom Cabral.
